With Heat Waves hitting the country for the past one week and more to come, it is time we think about creatures others than humans..
While we sip clean drinking water (taking it for granted), let us not deny this life-saving drink to our fellow living beings..
One hack we can use is keeping water in earthen pots for the street animals and birds..
The reason we suggest earthen pots are:
1) it keeps water cool
2) Zero-waste
3) safe for the environment when disposing (can easily be composted, what came from the soil, goes back into it)
4) drinking water from plastic, especially in this heat, is not good for humans, plants, animals OR birds..
Let us take this another small step in our quest for sustainability..
